The idea for Haps Nordic and our reusable Smoothie bag started on a trip to Asia with my family. Our son Mio was nine months at the time and had to eat a lot of small meals frequently.
We spent a lot of time on the go and at the beach, so the most comfortable solution was premade fruit smoothies made for babies. But I felt terrible about all the plastic waste that the packaging regenerated on our way.

As a textile designer, I was highly determined to design a more sustainable, appealing, and practical alternative. All with attention to Nordic aesthetics and finely tuned color combinations.
As a result, I designed the refillable Smoothie bag, which became Haps Nordic’s first product. An instant success that soon after was followed by a large range of washable and reusable products, made to be used again and again.
